Hello MODs:

I am wondering about the following 2 things. Please advise.

Q1: I posted this thread in appraisals "State/City/County Local Domain Names - Need Advice". I see that this thread is "closed". I want to know why? Did I do something wrong or ?

Q2: I am a paid platinum member. My avatar status shows both "platinum lifetime" and also "Gold Lifetime" member. Why is that?

Please let me know your responses.

If you don't want to post here, then you can PM me.

Regards.

When asking for an appraisal, you should only list a domain name or two, not a long list.

I am assuming this is why its closed.

I am not MOD, but...
For Q1: You need actual domain name on the title, at least one.

I know you do for sales threads, but I didn't think you did for appraisals.

Maybe that is the reason.

Thank you guys....may be thats what is was, but I would have appreciated the suggestion either via a PM or a post in the thread by a MOD instead of just closing the thread.

I am still looking for official answer for both the above questions.

Thanks.

Copper was right - No domain in title

DomainEngineer - just a hint, at the top of every forum, there is a sticky that will list the rules. They are "ratified" from time to time, so it is good to check them on a regular basis if you are unsure.

Mods do not have time to individually PM everyone who breaks a rule. They will simply close the thread and you can open a new one with the correct format.

never mind.
jdk was quicker ;)

See the liitle triangle symbol on the left beneath the members country
That is to report a post
A mod will usually reply if you report a post and fill out the form
It may be difficult for them to read every single thread or PM about every closed post
Hope this advice helps you

1. You need to own the name and post the name in the title.

2. I will check with admin about you member status.

Thanks,
John

1. Your thread was closed because there was not a domain name in the title as required. this requirement in progress to be extended thru-out the forum in ALL sales forums and appraisal sections. The only exemption is in Exclusive forum.

2. That "Gold Lifetime" is a fill-in within your profile, which you can change.

Thanks
