Moniker will be back next week due to TRAFFIC auctions.
Clients are advised to either fix support issues themselves of wait for Moniker to return.
Over.

Is this related to Monte Cahn's Achilles tendon injuries?

Or as Woody Allen would say:
Go make love to yourself - and not necessarily in those words

At least things are clear. Regular registrar business is not where the money is. Their priorities have been known for some time :sigh2:

All I am asking is to update whois. I want a very small but important change.
It's been a week and nothing.
Whois will NOT update at the registry for biz and us.

Yesterday Carla, Bari and even Monte were replying to my emails. Today, not a peep out of any of them. All I'm asking is for my email address to be changed, names to be unlocked and auth codes to be sent to I can get my names out. I guess their new strategy is to ignore the emails. Unbelievable how they've gone from one of the best registrars to one on a slide to being one of the worse.

I emailed Bari early today and got a response within minutes, it was regarding some domains for the TRAFFIC extended auction though.

I understand how you feel about the other issues though, that is just ridiculous.

For a second there I thought they were closed because of that bad accident on I-95 this morning.

(drums please?)

OK OK OK!! Stop groaning!! :D

I bet that Bari is going to post in here on Monday saying everything was fine and support was working fine.

And Carla can't even understand what a simple support ticket says. Let alone fix it.

dvdrip,

Why do you are, last I saw you were moving all your names to Fab anyway :-P Good choice..

If you don't like Moniker's service then move, there are others registrars out there:

Fabulous
Name.com
Dynadot
Internet.bs
DomainMonster

I have moved about 7000 domains away from moniker.
Still have a lot there, though.

With that many have you considered setting up your own registrar? :-P You and Acro can setup a domainer registrar :)

I thought about it. I might just do it when I finish what I am doing now...

Moniker has a serious problem with .biz and .us. Whois will not update, renewals fail half the time etc. This has been going on for months if not a year+. .info had the same issues but then I moved all my info out of there.

I lost the bet. Moniker never replied.

11 days after I opened the ticket and my whois is still not correct. And counting.
RIDICULOUS

You're right - it is RIDICULOUS and I'm sorry. I escalated it up to my tech guys this morning and all changes were made/corrected on the Moniker side. I'm having him verify it all at the registry level and that should be completed shortly.

11 days for a small change do make me wonder though..
