One of my mates pointed this out. Moniker login pages are really secure?
mate said:I also notice that their account login pages do not appear to be secure. The forms are processed by a script at https..., but the username/password is not being sent encrypted in the first place from what I can see as the form where they're entered is not at https;...
me said:According to your thought, enom and nsi seem to be secure. But godaddy, dotster and moniker seem to be not secure. Right?
mate said:Unless my understanding of how SSL works is wrong (which is of course possible - technology advances so quickly these days it's quite hard to keep up with everything), I don't believe they are secure.
As I understand it for the information to be submitted over a secure connection the form itself must also be located on a secure server.
