One of my mates pointed this out. Moniker login pages are really secure?

I also notice that their account login pages do not appear to be secure. The forms are processed by a script at https..., but the username/password is not being sent encrypted in the first place from what I can see as the form where they're entered is not at https;...

According to your thought, enom and nsi seem to be secure. But godaddy, dotster and moniker seem to be not secure. Right?

Unless my understanding of how SSL works is wrong (which is of course possible - technology advances so quickly these days it's quite hard to keep up with everything), I don't believe they are secure.

As I understand it for the information to be submitted over a secure connection the form itself must also be located on a secure server.

The login button is NOT the same as the action of the button. The image may be http: but the form where your information goes is https: and that's all that's important.

Moniker is the most secure registrar you can find. They have a perfect record...never had a domain stolen from them.

I don't have enough knowledge about SSL connection. But I'll access moniker site through https://www.moniker.com/index.jsp from now on. I think it's the best way I can do.
