I understand if an individual lists his/her names on SnapNames, then, Moniker changes the whois.

However, why is the whois pertaining to many domains within my Moniker portfolio now changed without my authorization? -- I never listed these with SnapNames.

Here is an example:

Domain Name: xxxxxxxxxx.COM
Registrar: MONIKER

Registrant [xxxxx]:
Pending Auction
Moniker Privacy Services - Auction:
https://www.snapnames.com/domain/xxxxxxxx.COM.action
20 SW 27th Ave.

And they are not expired domains?

It looks like they were expired and sent them to auction, or I recall that you have the ability to sell domains within your user panel at snapnames. I don't think it would change the whois info though.

good question -- I had guessed that, as well -- but they are not expired -- when I receive an answer I will update this thread

Domain servers in listed order:

NS1.PARKED.COM
NS2.PARKED.COM

Record created on: 2005-11-07 10:35:21.0
Database last updated on: 2010-04-15 09:33:31.277
Domain Expires on: 2010-11-07 10:35:21.0

Say, they try to sell them from under you

Update -- I spoke with Glenda (a very nice, and informed lady)

It was a glitch in the Moniker-SnapNames shared database.

In January I listed domains on SnapNames (Moniker changes the whois -- as I knew). However, I delisted them in February.

Glenda says their database inadvertently "locked" the whois from the old January/February Snapnames listing.

Changing the whois when you list your domain(s) for sale is the only thing I hate about Moniker. It's always hold me back from listing my top domains there.
