I know .info domains are well behind .com or even org/net- in fact out of a 500 domain portfolio it's the only .info I own but just saw creditcard.info go for 2K on Sedo last week although I realize that domain is related to finance so probably is a premium for that one, however "movie showtimes" in quotation marks has 222 Million results on Google and is #7 in the world for "movie" on overture with 199141 searches last month.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&rls=GGLG,GGLG:2005-33,GGLG:en&q="movie+showtimes"&btnG=Search

I welcome your opinions. Thanks for your 2 cents.

I like the name. The opinions of most is that the .info have less value due to search engines taking preference of the .coms, .nets & .orgs etc... I have put some .info, .us & .st domains up and they have grown in the search engines. I think that the reason that .coms are popular is that they were the first to be registered. As the other extension are being developed, they will gain equality. The only exception is the years registered. You can't get aroung that.

Just an opinion.

Good Luck with this one. Develop it and see what happens. Hard work produces results!

LOL- everything is for sale. Feel free to make an offer. I bought it initially to develop it but am too busy with other projects.

Like I said above- out of a 500 domain name portfolio this is the only .info I have and for that matter only have 4 or 5 .og's and .net's - I am a .com guy myself so I understand what the other poster said, however with the extreme amount of results in google and overture I felt I had to made an exception for this gem.

no much value as you've correctly pointed .info is not a gem. Worse still it has three words.
just my 2 cents

Thanks refide.

Abraham, n/p - everyones two cents is welcome. Everyone is entitled to thier own opinions, however, as the saying goes, not everyone is entitled to thier own facts.

I see a German flag so it's understandable you would not know the intricacies of English, however, "showtimes" in English is absolutely, irrevocably, 1 word, not 2.

You can see for yourself when typing in "show times" in google, even THEY correct you saying "did you mean showtimes?"

As for the .info TLD, as mentioned before I am cognizant at this time they trail the value of thier .com counterpart but as I said above, creditcard.info just went for $2,000 on Sedo a few days ago so I would hardly call that "not much value" - If you disagree feel free to wire me 2K if you got it laying around taking up space. LOL

Correction, it sold for $20K. It falls into the $xxxx category only when developed, to a reseller perharps in the mid $xx onwards to low $xxx.
