You need a lot of planning to do any kind of movement from any hosting provider to other.
You need to take special considerations depending on that kind of site, and the services you offer there. Also, if you have a CMS, that's another thing to consider.
Also, take account of the nameserver changes needed.

But if you just have a bunch of static html pages, then that's the easier way.

With few clicks you can install Wordpress.
