You need to have a conversation with your parents.

Sorry, I don't see any value in this domain. I am curious why your parents would give you this as a present.:?: It really doesn't ring out Ho! Ho! Ho!.

Cheers,

Fire your parents - if they really bought that for you as a Christmas present - unless you wanted that name for whatever reason.

Don't allow other people's words/actions (including your parents) to diminish your self perception/esteem or dampen or hinder your abilities and/or goals....Ever.

Sell that name, buy a better one and continue the cycle :) -- then you can show your parents how that one domain name changed your life in a positive way. I can't help but wonder if you're parents are actually expecting you as a visitor when they're in a Nursing Home... :/

I sure hope I've misunderstood you -- in any case good luck in your ventures.

you-dis-a-dot-us

If your parents are domainers.....make sure you pay attention at school - you won't learn much at home.

Have you considered not being so ****ing offencive to someone who simply asked for an appraisal? Who cares how old he is...he said his parents got him the name as a joke for xmas, and asked if it was worth anything.

That being said, i guess it's not worth anything undevelopd, thing is, (.) is pronounced (dot) not (point)...but good luck (($ reg fee IMHO))

I suggest you read the the entire thread. Clearly you didn't the first time. I won't bother to say your language if offensive because frankly your ignorance is more noticable.

Please don't waste any more of my time.

I find it very hard to believe that so many people on here would have so much disrespect for someone asking for a simple appraisal. The domain name is clever, its a simple thought outside the box that a lot of domainers tend to stay inside of.

If you do some research, you will find that YOUDISAPPOINTUS.NET is still available to register. In my opinion, the .net spelled correctly would hold more value and interest then your previously registered slang. But thats just my opinion.

Keep trying new things though man, you obviously have a differnt mind set, and ideas that not others think of too often. And that is something that will give you a huge advantage this late in the game.

Good Luck,

I think its quite good actually.

You have posted in the correct place as this is an appraisal thread and not an abuse thread so dont take any notice of the bad comments.

Let me be very clear-- the parents comment was a joke
I bought this name for myself

jasdon11
oh it is "dot US" and not "point US" thank you for clarifying that for me. (<- that is called a period not a dot) and the post just before your comment said it was a joke and you still made reference to my parents. you should think before you write.

Thank you for seeing where I was going with this. It is nice to see others that have removed the blinders and use some creativity.
I also got "youdisappointus.com for those people who would not get it.

And lastly thank you for the nice comments. I was just about to give up on this forum. This is only the 3rd post i have made on this forum and could not believe the stupidity from some of the replies.
I came to this site for some camaraderie and was not even welcomed.

as for my humor,

if you cant have fun in your life, then it’s not much of a life…

I would hope most people saw you were joking right away, and were joking back with you. At least I did.
But I did miss the idea of the "dot" being a "point". That's to far outside my box.
