For Sale Name Winner how do you know if you got it?

I hve a few names entered into name winner that i have the high bid and they are expired. How do i know when and if name winner was able to grab it before they are placed into my dotster acct? Any help on the subject appreciated.

wait for your info to appear in the whois, plus the usually bill you immidately. Just wait 72 hours.

Once you grab a name, it's removed from the "purchase" section and the word "pending" will show next to the name in the "watch list".

Check your "watch list"

The status for the domain will in the beginning stat 'Pending' and after a few days - 'You Got It'.

Ok, I have a few names that say (Pending) however the whois registry states these names were registered with another person? Does namewinners watchlist still state pending when you were not the actual winner?

Yes. You will get "Pending" for names that NW won for someone else. It can be a bit confusing. It means that you were outbid. You can confirm this by finding the NW page with your bid history and compare this with the final bid price on a name.

I am still waiting to find out about a name which was due to drop 5 days ago on Namewinner.

Don't know when I will get to find out, still showing as highest bidder.
