NameJet is not getting NetSol domains yet. This is from NetSol.

"Any backorder requests for domains that expired on or after September 21, 2007 and are scheduled to go to auction October 27, 2007 or later will be handled by NameJet, our new auction provider. If you have already placed a backorder request with our previous auction provider, SnapNames(R) for domains coming up for auction after October 27, 2007, you must place a new request with NameJet in order to participate in the auction.

Backorder requests expiring prior to October 27, 2007 will still be handled by SnapNames. If you have a SnapNames account, it will remain active, however SnapNames will no longer carry Network Solutions expired domain name inventory. All backorder requests for Network Solutions inventory will need to go through NameJet."

I do really think there search system sucks. I hope one of the free services provides a system soon. hint hint

If they are taking all the good names for themselves, and were left with the scraps, what effect would you say that will have on .com values? I would think less accessibility to great domains like these would drive up the price, no?

The price driving up is a big misconception. This industry has been going down hill ever since the auctions started. It would be an entirely different story if it were like other industries where you have various levels buyers and sellers. More or less the registrars are becoming manufacturer to consumer. Cutting out all of the middle men. The profits are then dispersed to shareholders who could give a rats ass about re-investing in the internet much less domain names. All they are concerned with is returns. Eventually even the heavy hitters will come to the conclusion that it's not worth paying the price any more. Especially when ICANN starts handing out extensions on a regular basis as they seem to be leaning towards.

Before the auctions you saw a lot of buying and selling going on between everyone. Now you just see everyone paying out the ass to registrars and the money leaving the industry.

Are you certain that they will auction great names? I see scraps poker domains.

The website is messed, search is not working properly, very confusing to use. I prefer club drop with this service, not perfect but it works.

I won an auction and still not receive it because of stupid interface.
