On March 27, 2026, it.com Domains joined NDDCamp Strasbourg 2026 in France. Joe Alagna, Chief Strategy Officer, Alessandro Baruffi, Director of International Partnerships, and Tess Diaz, Director of Channel Development, represented the company at the event.
NDDCamp (Nom de Domaine, which is French for “Domain name”) brought together around 150 participants and 25 speakers from across the domain name ecosystem, including registrars, intellectual property professionals, lawyers, SEO experts, naming agencies, and domain investors.
The one-day event combined expert roundtables and networking sessions, creating a space for open discussion and knowledge sharing. With a strong focus on the French region, NDDCamp Strasbourg highlighted local expertise while fostering collaboration between stakeholders across domain names, digital industries, and cybersecurity.
This year’s agenda placed a significant emphasis on cybersecurity challenges within the domain industry. Key discussions explored the growing risks of cybersquatting in both Web2 (these are traditional domain names used to access websites. They operate through the Domain Name System) and Web3 (these are blockchain-based records that serve as identifiers for cryptocurrency wallets, websites, and applications that are stored as digital assets in a cryptocurrency wallet and are fully owned by the owner without the need for renewal) environments, dispute resolution strategies, and legal protections for brands. Particular attention was also given to the upcoming round of the new gTLD (generic top-level domain) Program, including its potential impact on security, monitoring, and brand protection.
The it.com Domains team actively participated in the sessions and networking activities, exchanging expertise with peers and gaining insights into the latest developments in cybersecurity and domain management. During networking events the team also engaged with attendees interested in learning more about the company’s domain portfolio and its Registry Service Provider (RSP) platform, which supports organizations in managing and operating their own domain extensions.
