hello every body,
I made a lot of search to find out any possible way to open account in an American bank, am not an American citizen am EGYPTIAN so its not easy to do that.
I found out a way to do that cross www.etrade.com but as I get from the site they will play as a broker role to open an account for me: https://us.etrade.com/e/t/home
am not very sure of their credibility, So if any body can comment on them it will be great.
I also noticed that many big, famous American bank allows Non-American resident to open accounts with them direct over net but I wasn't able to find any of them .. So, also if any body can recommend one or more to me it will be great :)
am in a need to every possible help, So please share all what you can share.
Thanks :)

I think that would not be possible. You need to have some evidence that you reside in the United States like a bill and drivers license. if anyone could open up a bank account in other countries, money laundrying and scams would exist. not a good idea.

Why do you want an American bank account? Whats wrong with your banks?

Why do you want an American bank account? Whats wrong with your banks?
a lot :)
first thing for example I live in Egypt and would like to have a paypal account to be able to finish my deals fast and paypal don't accept Egypt.
with the help of Aramex.com using their great service shop&ship I now own my address in United States so am able now to finish fast some of my work, but without have an account with American bank its so hard to finish fast all deals.
we are in Arabic countries (specialty Egypt) really wronged in the online business industry and have nothing to do towards this :)

BTW, review my thread again and you will find a site I put http://www.etrade.com that site make me able to have an account with American bank while am set to my computer in my room :)
I just want another way, a trusted bank make this service direct.

Dear Johnn, thanks a lot for your help.
CIB have a branch in my city I visited them days ago and asked about the service they don't offer it, my bank account with them will be an Egyptian account NOT American account.
this site http://www.dollarat.com I found guide you to many services inside U.S. for Non-American citizens, but for bank account they also talk about eTrade :)

yes you are right, but Banks in this page: http://www.cibeg.com/PublicSite/EN/InstitutinalBanking/CorrespondentBanking.jsp
including "JP Morgan Chase Bank" they just have relations with but NOT ownership or partners of any kind. Chase was own 49% but get out of game in 1987 and its a shared now between S.A.E. and Investors :)
thanks for your comments and providing help with this.
but can I ask you if you have any informations about eTrade bank as I found now many sites recommended this bank as one of the trusted banks in the country, is that right?? can I trust this bank??

All the bank which has branches in the US are FDIC insured up to $100,000.
I think you don't need to worry unless you have $100,000,000

You can open a US LLC, get an EIN (Tax ID number) for it, and open a bank account for the LLC.

LLC Costs:
set up ~ $700
yearly fees ~ $300-400
you will also have to file a yearly tax return to the IRS which also costs money if you use a US accountant.
