Not an IDN expert.

http://xn--mxahhlmoo4a.com is ΝΕΑΥΟΡΚΗ.com - that's in Greek. The punycode you listed above is different, sorry.

script original converted
BasicLatin xn--pr-kbc.com prο.com
BasicLatin xn--newyrk-l0e.com newyοrk.com
Greek xn--mxahhlmoo4a.com νεαυορκη.com

So From that I would say Basic latin then?

Just paste in the exact url before it converts to punycode and I will try to tell you what language it's in.

LOL that's not what I meant :)

Not the punycode, the actual characters e.g. νεαυορκη.com

newyork.com and pro.com is what you get from putting in the punny code
there are no characters

Then it's pointless to call them IDN domains if they are visually the same. To me, an IDN means it's written in some language other than the standard ASCII/latin.

Example: θεσσαλονικη.net has a punycode of http://xn--mxahhbhgfqr1ba.net

xn--pr-kbc.com (prο.com)

xn--newyrk-l0e.com (newyork.com)

From what I can see, the New York one is all with English characters, apart from the "o" in York, which you have replaced with the Greek "ο" ( Omicron ) character. I am guessing the same is the case with your pro name.

These are IDNs in the basic sense, but not the type that will be worth anything, and ones which are mainly used for phising sites and such.

I doubt anyone looking for newyork.com will type in the name you have and decide to replace the "o" with the Greek character for "o".
