The point that I won this auction and yet the domain name was sold to someone else is irrelevant to you since it was sold for a lesser price? And the seller's unnecessary decision to take less money for the sake of expediency rather than to honor our deal for the contracted bid amount within a reasonable time somehow makes him a charitable person and immune to DNF rules in your view? Sorry, I dont think like you do. I feel people who act without regard for others and who exhibit poor business ethics should be exposed, not protected, for the betterment of the overall community. DNF is a business forum where members should have a reasonable expectation that bad business dealings will not be tolerated. If you think otherwise, then maybe YOU should get over it.

Malicious intent was never accused nor is it relevant so I have no idea why you think any lack of malicious behavior is applicable to this conversation. I could care less about intent. All that concerns me is the action that robbed me of the opportunity to purchase this name which I wanted for a very specific purpose. I really dont think this is so hard to understand.

He made a mistake and admitte to it, what would you like us to do? Tar and feather him? A similar incident happened to me, but it was a first time seller so I cut him a break, I think you might do the same and move on.

We need a forum rule for time to pay or whatever or at least agree on it before sealing the deal, I got into a dispute over this already, I waited a day and ended up giving it away the next day and in result (-) :disappointed:

Once or twice here, I posted 'Sold" and added " I need to be away until tomorow evening sometime. I'll contact you then it I won."
I didn't have any trouble, nor did the seller.
IMHO, a simple consideration told what to ecpect. No mis-communication.
Communication is, has been, and will always be the key.

He obviously didn't read the rule's..I've made transactions before where someone has placed a higher bid after the auction was over, yet I sold the name as according to the time stamp (even if it was for slightly less money)..rules are rules..this guy is dumb and didn't both to read or follow them. So before you make insults like that, know your facts. And most of all, know who you are insulting because you would never know who will be knocking on your door.

I think personal physical threats in PMs or publicly can actually be passed on to the police and followed up on. Might want to check into that fpforum.
