That is pretty quick for a new extension. It helps that there are only 1000 combinations possible.

They sold pretty fast and I would like to see .me domains succeed and not be the next .mobi, but I am pretty skeptical. This is why I only registered 1 domain and took back my preregistration fee refunds with a smile on my face, but hopefully I am wrong!
I guess we'll see in a couple years when the domains need renewed...
