Comprehensive Configuration
Simple to use configuration options allow you to have complete control of the way how noiqe operates. From notification options, email confirmations, privacy, posting rights and image uploading privileges, you'll be able to setup the site exactly how you want.You can choose the default language, and create a language pack for your own country (it comes default with English). Creating a language pack is simple as editing a single file.
Keep track of your Questions & Answers
In order to facilitate multiple researchers and administrators, You have the option of locking your questions so that only one researcher at a time can answer them. With the "My Questions" area, you can keep track of your questions and answers. Also, comes with built in RSS 2.0 feeds so you can use your newsreader to keep on top of incoming questions and answers.
Categories & Pricing
The category manager allows you to both categorize questions, and set different pricing types for the kind of answers you want to provide. Pricing can be setup based on pre-payments, post-payments or no payments on a category-by-category basis.If you decide to go with payments after questions are answered, noiqe will automatically bill your customer as soon as you post your answer. Each category has its own title and description, and an RSS 2.0 feed that keeps visitors updated with the most recent questions in that section.
Asking Questions
Noiqe makes asking questions ultra-easy with a simple interface that guides your customer through each step. Your customers will be able to select categories, bid on pricing, decide if a question is private or public and set the priority. Depending on the pricing scheme, once the question is validated, the user may be taken to the payment screen to make payment, or directly to question as posted. Payment options are available for Authorize.net and Paypal.
Working with Questions
Viewing and answering questions on noiqe is easy. Once you've selected the question you want to work with, you will be given an opportunity to:
* Forward it to someone else by email
* Lock it for answering
* Edit the question
* Answer the question
* Post a clarification or follow-up
* Post a comment
* Delete a comment or follow-up
* Promote a comment to an answer
In addition, each question even has its own RSS 2.0 feed which is linked in the customer's question confirmation email.
By visiting the "All Questions" (admin only) area, you can quickly browse and filter questions based on category and status, then edit, delete, or change the pricing of each.
Searching and Browsing
Noiqe has its own high speed fulltext search engine built in with automatic indexing of public questions (private questions are never indexed), so you never have to rely on any external search facility.
By clicking on the "Browse" menu, customers can easily browse the sections and quickly paginate through each category's list of questions. Making your questions and answers public is a great way to draw attention to your service.
User Management
You can easily edit user information with the "Manage Users" control panel. Change passwords, edit user information, setup your bio, delete users, convert user to researcher or administrator (or the reverse), or view all of a user's activity.
Noiqe handles registration, login and password retreival, and you can setup the software to require email confirmation of all users when they register. (emails edited via PHP file)
