Non-hosted registered domains

Does anyone have any idea as to what % of registered domains are not hosted or in active use? I read that there are approx. >40 mil registered domains. Thanks.

i think max 30% of domains hosted may be less

if domains are registered at a rate of 0.001 %

so hosting rate will be 0.0003%

I am guessing 99% are not developed.

I think i have read it is between 80-95% of domains are not developed.
