Nice one, easy to understand and short. Not sure what it could be marketed as, but it's common enough it would market itself when it is developed and running with goods or services. What's your traffic?

How about a possible use as a parady or novelty joke-type site with the theme: "Nope I'm not going to do it, it wouldn't be prudent" or "No not tonight honey, I have a headache"?

Either that or a credit card company or mortgage company that always declines loans :)

I'd estimate it to be worth about $600 to $1,000 retail value.

Or else a "just say no" (to drugs) site using the fanciful combination of "no" and "dope". Start a new campaign: just say nope

or else it could possibly be used for a site promoting abstinance (i.e. against pre-marital sex)...

I love it. Super short, easy to spell and communicate to others. How can you go wrong? :)

You are right lots, this might be undervalued. I estimate this domain likely gets 75 type-ins a day. Considering that and the points I mentioned before $1000 does seem on the low side.

bida,

check the overture numbers for how many type-ins for nope.com

It shows 61 searches for nope.com in September. From my experience, this would equate to aproximately 70 to 90 hits a day from type-ins.

I already did..that was my point ..it shows 61 searchs but I'll guaranteed that is "tampered" data.. why .. because "nope" was only searched 700 times !

No one is searching for "nope" it represents nothing ..not a product not a service..

that said a few companies have BRANDED "nope" and anyone interested in the domain could do likewise..

The site was up at one time for 4 years
http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://nope.com

and it still has over 800 links..(well 300 or so..if you discount alltheweb)
http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://nope.com

So it certainly has value..but most of that value is DEVELOPED value...

with the links still on it..$400 -$700 "cute" factor add $100 or so ..as a stand alone with no links , no history..$100 ..my opinion of course
