I don't think so... Can a broadcast system be trademarked?
Is PAL or SECAM trademarked? I really have no idea...

Well, it is not supposed to have a future, the FCC is trying to change over all tv transmissions to digital in the future.

Thanks for the link. I know future belongs to digital technology but i find this name,if nothing else, a nice compilation. I agree that it belongs to present days.

NTSC is like old VGA on computers, 640x480, actually a bit higher around 512 lines
I think. PAL is more like SVGA about 600 lines.

Its like museum.org for .tv when NTSC is taken over it
might actually get notoriety.
