Auction is probably a good way too. You can auction on here, but also sedo, ebay, tdnam and loads of other places including real life auctions.

Stay away from e-bay for a high quality name like Obama.net . Stick to DNF, Sedo or Afternic. Or submit it to a live auction.

I haven't tracked the success of selling domains here on this site. For the extra $40 to upgrade, would my domains get to enough perspective buyers eyeballing here as well as $$? What are others "unbiased" take on this.

Since your direction was headed towards "sales inquiries" then it was suggested that you upgrade if you plan on "advertising" it for sale here or seek inquiries and offers.

You may only look at it now for what's it worth to advertise those "two" domains, but I'm sure you plan on building your portfolio in future.

As for the domains, if they get traffic now, then whether he (Obama) wins or not, they should remain popular based on "his" future.

$40 is nothing to join one of the largest (if not the largest) domain forum on the internet as a seller. I did it when I was making practically nothing and I'm glad I did. I'm even considering shelling out another $350 to get exclusive membership sometime soon and I don't actually do that much domaining (I'm more of a content publisher).

Pay the $40, put it in offers wanted, someone will give you a good one. If you don't think its enough, put it in next moniker or snapnames live auction.
