Hi,

I know the owner of these names had it appraised, but I'd like to hear a second opinion and see how close is to the appraisal he got.

businessoup.com A serious biz site for directory or search engine of new extensions such as .info, .us, .biz, etc.

ticklez.com I love this one...for com or fun site

attheatresonly.com name speaks for itself

bargainhood.com All bargains all the time! great.

And, if anyone interested, let me know....
:)

$0 - the lot.

I hope he didn't pay to have them appraised.

This is actually the 3rd opnion - but the results are the same - $0 resale value.

Don't forget - we mostly do reseller's aprasails (at least I do) - so we tend to be miserly :)

businessoup.com - doesn't work as a domain, $0

ticklez.com - $50 resale - but Grat for any joke site, easy to develop and promote.

attheatresonly.com - keep it on hold, renew and go for the first offer.

bargainhood.com - Too many domains with the word bargin in them - this one's not bad - just not that good. $0

don't really see any potential or resale value.......
if you develop and spend about $40 million on marketing you might get some hits.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for your contributions. I know he did not pay for the appraisal (as he has a dude who is a broker and sells his domains for him) but it greatly differs from what you are commenting. Thanks anyway.

Definitely $0 on all.

and what is oup? (businessoup.com )

UM, I hope his broker didnt charge him more than say $8-$9 to register these domains. It may be a broker problem.

what did the broker say it was worth, and who is the broker.

I think none of them have any real value. Not even worth development. Ticklez.com would be the best of the lot.

Hi guys, can you tell me how exactly is it that this appraising a new domain name came accross as it seems, to me, that it is pretty much like "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" kind of thing. A domain name has to actually appeal to the person looking to buy a domain. You should make your own decisions, not have others make a decision for you. Get knowledgeable about HOW to choose one is right for you and that should be enough. I think, all names that you can honestly say, this is a meaningful, easy to remember domain name...has real value.

BTW, the domain businessoup.com stands for business soup, of course. It is, clearly, clear enough so, I don't see why it should have an extra "s" on it for the sake of clarity. I think this name is a meaningful one.
