Hey DNF Addict,

As a rock and roller myself, it's think it's pathetic to pick-up someone else's domain name and expect to exploit it the way you're proposing. I had this happen to me 5-6 years ago and it sucked. The honorable thing to do would be to contact them about it and charge them a nominal fee like $100 or ask for free show tickets/CDs for showing them this courtesy. The amount of work it takes to build a following in this business is tremendous and sure they dropped the ball on the domain name but do they deserve to pay a premium price for your opportunism. It's simply stealing IMHO!

I had similar experience in 1999.
It was highly valuable to me since I put years of effort into it.
I had 20,000+ memberships under that domain.
But...
I never thought the person who register that domain as Thief.
It never occur to me.
I blamed myself. It was all my doing.

Further more, I am sure you know that "dsturbed" put his
valuable time trying to find good domain name.
It didn't just landed on his lap.

If it was me, I would return it since I know how other person
may feel about losing domain name.

But, still, it's up to "dsturbed" to choose.

Business is business. Especially when registrar's give you a 30 day window after your domain actually expires. If you can't keep control over your own domains then you have no business complaining when someone else registers them. Nice catch.

Even more than that... Remember domains go thru a entire cycle before they're opened back up to registration. Ive slipped myself. We all have.

Ive picked up my own expired domains that have been in "Pending Deletion" status (that's the last stage) - ofcourse, you have to pay more, but if it's that important... work it out!
