I'm going to try and make all my sites at least have something to offer while they are sitting there. Can you take a look at this site I just put up and tell me what more can you do with a one page site, other than set up affiliate links. I'm waiting for an HTML CD to arrive, and I will then clean up the sites I have. But is there anything more you can do to make these sites more popular than submitting them to all the search engines with decent keywords?

Don ..you need to add a link to it from your
kingdonswholesale.com/mymusic.html
add colored contact lens and "cool" eyeglass frames as your affiliate links instead of the lame banners..

Have actual products that your afiliate partner has instead of the banners. ..simply dissect your affiliate code for those images instead...check with your affiliate programs contact to make sure that Ok..usually not a problem at all and it shows you really are serious about wanting to sell their products.

you need more keyword text at east a few paragraphs..

Consider trading links?

I'll provide a link to:

kingdonswholesale.com/mymusic.html

Page if you'll provide a link back from that page to:

http://posters.biz/musicposters.htm

I Like your music.. a touch of "nugent" and a dash of the "cars"

Putting products on instead of banners is a great idea, I will work on that tomorrow. Do you think I should make up a few sub pages, like 3 for each site I slap up and have 4-5 products from each program on each sub? I belong to a meta tag submission club and they say to much saturation is bad for meta tags, can you point me to other info. The program I use allows us to put in our basic info and it submits to about 50 search engines. I used this for my KingDonsLeather.com site, and it was listed in about 3 weeks. I'm thinking it takes a day to throw one of these one page wonders together and submit, even with sub pages. Then after a month they start to get some traffic and sales. But how do you get them to explode, how do you get the crazy traffic? I will throw up a link for you on my music page, send me the HTML. Thanks for the ideas, I will take your suggestions and redo the page, bye bye for now.

Here's a basic one-pager I put together for bgrealms.com, the domain used to be one of the largest fan sites for the Baldur's Gate series of computer games:

Here you go Don

http://posters.biz/musicposters.htm at the bottom I added a link to your site,

and see the sunglasses , click on that and you see it takes you to your affiliate , I'll be taking the sunglasses down..but thats an example using the product images instead of the Banners...just add some text so the search engines spider has something to grab. The brand of sunglasses, price...etc..
I would ad a few pages of the top Lens/and Frame designers..Geez I see their are about 100 of them..so you shouldnt be short of subject..

Some people search by designer.. consider adding desgner pages..

Glassess by Liz Claboirne, Geofery Beene page etc...a little bit of history about each designer then the the products...

As far as how to get that "Crazy Traffic "..hey when you find out let me know !

because joining these "clubs" you can seriousely affect your google ranking...

http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum3/6703.htm

When you add a link to me you can use this :

<a href="http://posters.biz/musicposters.htm">Music Posters and
Prints</a></font></p>

Yep, as long as you are selling their products they usually are very receptive...

A lot better Kingdon..

You probaby want to add more keywords into your text..thats what the search engines will use in ranking you(along with inboaund links for Goolge. meta tags on altavista, msn and a few others along with other variables).. contact lens, eyeglassess... about 8-10 percent(of total text)(some say higher but then you risk being "demoted for spamming) for each of your keywords

I need some html, looking to throw up a page that automaticly sends them to my home page. I'm going to put this on all my pages that are just parked, that way i don't have to reload each one when I change something. Do you have that HTML code?

Here's the kind of page is use to catch any 404 (invalid url) errors, you could use something similar on your parking pages to automatically redirect people. The redirect is handled by the meta tag in the header and I include a link in the body for people with really really old browsers.

Mark......

Edit: ok this forum allows you to use HTML in the messages so the example I tried to give did the actual redirect :(

Put < > brackets around the following and put it inside the HEAD tags of your html page. You can change the number to make the delay more or less.

meta http-equiv="refresh" content="5; URL=http://www.eyelensexpress.com/"
