What I noticed is that each time a good name is to be appraised in this forum, the price is always real low. But once you ask someone for a price of his own domains, it´s always 2-3000$. I think it´s not very useful to ask for an appraisal here. Just my opinion. But 20$ for beauties.org is a joke. If you would say something around 200-500$ than I would think the appraisal is meant serious. But 20$ ? Come on. I would think its a 500-750$ name.

Most domains that are put up for sale or appraisal are truly worthless (unless there's a unique end user out there who specifically wants that domain.)

However, I've seen some good domains appraised at very low prices too. I think that is because many people who use dnforum.com are actual domain name sellers and not end users.
Sellers want to buy low and sell high. People who buy domains via dnforum.com usu. want to pay a wholesale price for the domains and have a "wholesale" mentality.

I think that sellers with good domains will do better selling the domains directly to end users, especially after the US pulls out of the recession.
