Opinions sought on one word domains prefixed with 0, eg 0(something).com ?

From a development point of view, for a decent keyword (1 million exact searches) is it worth buying 0(keyword).com to try to get an SEO boost for that term? Anyone here had any success getting ranked with a domain like that?

Looking at dnsaleprice.com, 0carbon, 0Fees, 0Hour, 0Hosting, 0Stores, 0Result have sold for xxx to xxxx in the past - but most of those domains all make sense as in "zero", like "no fees" etc, so from a domain reselling POV it doesn't look hugely lucrative.

But SEO-wise is it worth it?
