Consider that the other tld's .net.org tld's as well as theorangecurtain .com, .net & .org tld's & the-orange-curtain .com, .net .org tld's are used by the American Legacy Foundation which was formed by 47 US State Attorney General's settling with the tobacco industry to fund an anti-smoking non- profit org based in Washington D.C. They have been funded with 1.2 billion dollars and earn investment income over 100 million per year on those funds. Plus the non profit receives many more millions per year in settlement payments. They spend another 50 million plus with their advertising agency each year.This domain was hand reg'd in 1998 and has had only one owner until yesterday. Also the term Orange Curtain is used fairly extensively as a sometimes derogatory term intended to imply a lack of sophistication as in "you live in Orange County, CA" your behind the Orange Curtain which historically has a very conservative population relative to LA. Alternatively it can be used as a positive term as in "I live in OC behind the Orange Curtain" far from the smog, traffic, crime of LA.
