Oro.us

Spanish for gold.

*Pros:

Huge latino population in the US.

Huge worldwide spanish speaking population that just might be curious enough to check out what's happening en los Estados Unidos on a regular basis.

Did anyone mention "gold"?

Only three sparkling letters - smooth as silk, fine as crystal, a real gem, pure as...gold? :eek:k:

ORO - great acronym in its own right, too. Oh really, Oscar? Yes, really.

*Cons:

 ...um...sorry, none at this time.

*Epilogue:

.US has been steadily heating up and the sleeping giant appears to finally be awakening. He hasn't fully awoken yet, but he can smell the sweet aroma of a breakfast that's del.icio.us. .US took the current #5 spot at DNJ, and it appears the reported 2005 record may be falling soon. It's hard to keep a sleeping giant asleep forever.

I like it. Probably one of the better .us names I have seen in a while. It will take a lot of work to market because of the suffix, but I could easily see you obtaining a buyer in the $5k-10k range, with some leg work and marketing by you.
