Hi,
I am looking at purchasing a domain name and the OVT is 85085. That is for the keyword. The keyword is very general and is in the singular form, not the plural.

To clarify, dog and dogs shows the same overture.

So, my question is, based on that info alone. How much would a general domain name as described be worth? PPC on yahoo is about $1.00 per click.

I am looking for a few answers, if you can help provide them

1. What would be the expected traffic from a name that i have described above?

2. What would be a realistic low, medium, and high estimate for a domain as i have described?

3. What else can i use as a barometer to see if the price is too high?

Any help is appreciated. If I have posted this in the wrong section, please move to the correct one.

Thank YOU

is it a "one word" domain or more than 2 words?

2. What would be a realistic low, medium, and high estimate for a domain as i have described?

you would have to answer the first question

3. What else can i use as a barometer to see if the price is too high?

compare the selling prices of similiar names and the demand for that category of keywords

steven, also try typing the actual domain name into overture. see what score that gets.

also, think about which industry this domain applies to, if it is high demand like gambling or mortgages then it is worth a lot more as the trafiic converts better.
