Nice Name!

I like this domain alot as a Place Name in .com - decent Ovt with high development potential for a professional end-user. Obviously 'Palm Beach' alone would have been better, but having the State name ('Florida') next to it isn't bad either - helps with the Global Marketing of this name imo.

I would appraise at low to mid $x,xxx to end-user, if not higher!

GL with your name!

Sarah, That's a good domain name. It's worth at least $3,000, in my opinion.
You should try to sell it for an asking price of $5,000+. Good luck with doing
so!

Sure PalmBeach.com would have been better however it was not for sale .. And the owner of PalmBeaches.com wants no less than $150k ..

I think it's a very good name to develop for this ever growing and very wealthy area.. Check google stories, the population of Palm beach is growing on average 6% every year (type-in - "Palm Beach Population) .. "Last 10 years it has grown 78% ! And Real Estate Values are absolutely skyrocketing much higher than the growth percentage in the paradise known as "Palm Beach Florida"..

thanks.

Yes, it is insane what the value of homes are going for now.

Lots used to be $15k for 1.25 acreas 3 years ago. Now the lots alone are going for more than $250k for 1.25 acres. In the city they are even more, but you can get 0.25 acreas. Close to the ocean, where I am, it is even more.

Nice name, hot real estate market. Modest population though a primary resort area with many wealthy residents and future retirees. A Palm Beach realtor's dream domain ... $6000 - $14,000. Actually, with the .com, probably more.

Great Name! Very valuable and promising.

I would appraise this name at low to mid xx, xxx just because average house value in this city is over a million dollars according to the 2000 census. So a real estate site would be a perfect fit for this domain.

Here are some more stats for this city:

Population (year 2000): 10,468
Males: 4,631 (44.2%), Females: 5,837 (55.8%)

Elevation: 15 feet

County: Palm Beach

Land area: 3.9 square miles

Zip code: 33480

Median resident age: 66.6 years
Median household income: $94,562 (year 2000)
Median house value: $1,000,001 (year 2000)

New: Palm Beach, FL residents, houses, and apartments details

Races in Palm Beach:

* White Non-Hispanic (93.8%)
* Black (2.6%)
* Hispanic (2.6%)
* Two or more races (0.6%)

Ancestries: English (12.6%), German (11.4%), Russian (10.4%), Irish (8.6%), United States (7.4%), Italian (6.2%).
Palm Beach, Florida map

Best names, Actually Palm Beach is referred to as Palm beach "county" for people who live in Florida. I lived there 12 years to know this ..

Thus the population is well over 1 million ..

By April 1, 1998 Palm Beach County's population was approximately 1,020,400, an increase of 16.6% from 1997, with 45 new residents arriving daily. Our county of beaches and farms, urban centers and country towns is the largest metropolitan county east of the Mississippi River, spreading out of 2,386 square miles.

Palm Beach International Airport serves an annual traveling public of more than 5,844,098.

In 1998, 2,428,000 people visited Palm Beach County hotel facilities..

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is constantly changing to meet the needs of our diverse and rapidly growing communities

I believe Rick "Domain King" Swartz would be seriously interested. You could sell it between $20k to $40k with the proper pitching.

Sarah, DUDE....you have a real winner here...owning BoyntonFlorida.com myself and
CityOfBoynton.com and some others (Boynton Beach is a popular city in Palm Beach County), I get ALOT of interest in them...I also live here as you know..not too far from where you grew up! "Palm Beach" as you said above is the term loosely applied to ALL of Palm Beach County, FL which includes PALM BEACH (where Donald Trump lives and so many other ultra famous and rich people) West Palm Beach, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Lake Worth, Lantana, Boca Raton and others as you already know...this name is surely worth an easy mid $xx,xxx and I think a major realtor here would pay more even...you might see the low end of $xxx,xxx on this name, it really is one of the greatest city/county - state domains I think i have EVER seen....the only equivalent would be LosAngelesCalifornia.com or WashingtonDC.com, etc....it's definitely one of the top 5 in the country and I am glad to live here and I surely wish that name was mine! I don't know how you do it! But it is DAMN expensive to live here on the flipside...that is if you were'nt ALREADY here before now. For instance my mom bought a nice 2 bedroom condo on the water here 7 years ago here for just 35k after we sold our old house and now it's worth 150k+ and only going up! An average single family home here is now 350k+ and used to be just 125k a few years ago, the development here is skyrocketing and so is the land value and population...my advice for this domain, make a realestate/local portal, heavily develop it and put to good use the already existing traffic on the name and then let me broker it for you for $50K+!

agreed, def. winner, no one except the schools or unless its referred to in written terms refers to it by the name Palm Beach County, most reffer to it as Palm beach, Fl , Hold on and sell when a good offer comes, and it will come soon enough, A hot hott domain that one!

Wow Mocus , that gave me goosebumps :)

I knew it was a winner.. I guess people would have to have been there ( as I have) to understand the Huge growth and wealth magnitude of Palm Beach county to understand .. It is the largest (areawise), richest and fastest growing county east of the Mississippi ! And I have the link to prove it .
