A few domains I registered through Pool ended up with Parava Networks aka $10-domains. After the 60 day period passed I tried to transfer these domains to my main registrar. After asking Parava to unlock these domains I was told that they were not allowing any transfers for domains registered through Pool. Their reason for this is they were in a dispute with Pool over money.
I paid for these domains through Pool, and Parava ended up as the registrar. The whois for these domains is in my name. As far as I'm concerned I own these domains. Whatever Parava's dispute with Pool is doesn't concern me. Yet Parava is holding my domains hostage in their dispute with Pool. How do these companies do business like this? Who do I sue in all of this? Parava or Pool?
Parava has such a twisted sense of business ethics that they insist they are doing nothing wrong. They believe it is ethical to hold my domains hostage, as bargaining chips, in their dispute with Pool.
If you have any domains registered with Parava I suggest you try and transfer them to see if they are pulling this same scam with you.
Any suggestions on how I can resolve this without getting my lawyer involved?
