Wanted: Service Parking page is not mine... Please Help!

I purchased a name from somone the other day... I changed the nameservers to my parking site, and traffic is being directed to my parking site... but when you go to the URL, it shows the old parking page of the person that I bought the domain name from...

Can anyone help me sort this out?

Although your name servers have updated they probably haven't propagated across the whole Internet yet, Some ISPs can take 2-3 days to update.

Just leave it for now, if the problem persists contact your registrar.

You could also try emptying your Cache, followed by refreshing the page several times - that sometimes works

To check your DNS real time, regardless of whether your ISP is using cached DNS info:

www.dnsstuff.com
DNS lookup => enter domain, select NS in combo box and lookup

Thanks a lot sdsinc.. everything seems to be fine with the nameservers... Its just not picking up the right page.

depends on the ccTLD- if its not .com .net .org .us (pop) then it can take up to a week to fully propogate.
