I tried tried to install the red lion one because only 3 or 4 changes to the script..I still managed to screw it up !

anyone interested in this install.. I 'll PM you paths and all that ...

Hi Bid,

I couldnt get it to work myself. It looks so easy to setup but still no go. I returned the 200 DNF Bucks. I am still going to try and figure it out on my server. Theres like only one .pl file.

Its funny how I was able to install a PPC Search Script, Auction, Freelance and Message Board script which has many .pl files and configurations without problems.

I blame the programmer

I tried this last night..only 3 or 4 lines to change..had it all set up but the board..got frustrated..

the actual boards not as nice but at least you can chat while you're playing..

That's a PHP script...I don't want to risk f-ing up my MySQL database and losing all my domain info...I'll keep trying this one

NO, my site is a PHP script from RJs site. I love it...a really fine product...I know HTML & CGI well, but I just don't know PHP & MySQL too well and I don't want to risk screwing up my site.

php don't suck. the perl script prob just doesn't need a mysql database.

i think i might add a chess game to one of my comunity sites.

can't you create a new database? or your host limits you?
