Although having a "penpal" is not as popular, since "Emailing".

The name has some value. perhaps a portal for ink pen sales, paper and envelopes,postage stamps and collectables

1K easy to a content developer maybe even 10K if they love it great potential development penpal.com isn't banging live so if that was a commercial project, then it would help your name. Personally I don't like org's for development, since you can't really make money with them, but if a developer puts up a site where real penpals are made, it could get a ton of traffic. The media loves to give free press to free sites like that. Anyway, major development potential. So it does have a small inherent value (small 1K to 10K) not a major name but a nice little org

i caught the name cause i also believe it's a nice name for an org and with the right content can attract a large crowd. hopefully the right developer will want it.
