If this gets through escrow and finalizes, what do you guys think of this sale price? Personally i thought it would have been in the 3-5 million range.

It's alot of money...decent price imo

I agree, thought it was a bit low.

you expected it to climb that high because you saw early high bids. But would you expect it to sell for $5M before the auction started? My guess is no:)

$2,6M is a fair price for an end user IMO

sold for higher than i thought. thought would go for about half that
hopefully will go though and will get covered by media so more attention to domain 'industry'

Great price given the general financial market conditions. That cash flow would work for me for a month or two.

I think this domain would of done better at TRAFFIC... Plus, the way Sedo runs the show their, I wouldn't expect to see payment. I have had 4 non-paying bidders just in 2008 already. I hope for the seller, that payment is made, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

It makes a speculator USD millionaire - there will be many more at the $x,xxx, xxx level - doesn't go far here in the UK :(

Rumors have it that 9MM bought it.

Rumors have it that 9MM bought it.

LOL

Although Batman's gutted as he regged it back in the day and let the biatch drop, as the internet was meant to be 'free man' and no-one would buy it

$325k per slice, $520k per letter, not bad...

Congrats to both.

:)

It came close to what vodka.com sold for.

I wonder what Dominos or Pizza Hut spends on advertising each year?

what is the state of 9mm as of now. Anyone know?

brilliant story of the seller ( thanks buyauthority )

hope it all goes through and the guy can take a nice holiday and pehaps order a few takeaways ( pehaps he will order pizza )

It's a nice sale.
That said, I expected it to go a lot higher considering that there were 4 or 5 bidders above the $2M level a couple of days ago.
