I just registered PlayDates.org 15 minutes ago. I think this is one of the best new reg's I got in a while. My friend has a 2 year old and has used Yahoo groups to find play dates in his neighborhood. I got the idea to see if I could find a good domain to do a website about how to find play dates. I started with the obvious "playdate" and "playdates", but didn't really think any of the top extensions would be available. I was happily surprised to see playdates.org available, all the other extensions were taken except .biz. I think the .org works pretty well with this since parents would like it to be an informational website they can trust, and .org kind of lends itself to that. Would like to hear other opinions and appraisals. Thanks.

I'd say develop it. Not worth much until developed IMHO. Maybe just a quick info site with links to Yahoo Groups / Google Groups / etc.

Good ideas for the sight, but needs some work.

Thanks for the input Peaches. I'm going to have do a little research on the best way to develop it.
