I'm not too sure about registering it for 10 years, but .ca is good for developing for the Canadian market. To be honest, there are still quite some dictionary word .ca domains available (esp. when once in a while people do let them expired), and playful.ca is probably no better than many of those. That's throwing away you could be spending registering more useful .ca names....
