Do you use popunders at Namedrive?
I'm using it at the moment, but I'm thinking about turning it off since it might scare away visitors if they notice popunders or gets warnings from pop-blockers.
What do you guys think?

That's my concern as well. I have mine turned off too for that reason. I wonder if our concerns are valid?

I use it and it makes a nice additional income.

Most of my visitors seems to be using popup blockers (around 90%), so that's why I was thinking if it was worth it or not...

I use popunders and I have not noticed any negative effect in therms of decreasing traffic so far.

If they are getting blocked, fine, but for about 3750 visits (800 pop unders) this makes me another 2-3 USD per month.

Thats a convincing argument for me! :cheeky:

I meant if it would lead to lower CTR if the popunders would scare people away.
I've got around the same amount of visits, but only around 10% popunders...

I have not felt any decrease in CTR but I have also been using popunders ever since they where introduced to ND some months ago.

I guess it is a matter of personal preference in the end.

I'll turn off the popunders for the rest of the month just to see if there's any major change in the CTR.

Keep us posted on if you see a more clicks since you turned off the popunders.

Thanks.

I haven't seen any decrease but only some small extra revenue...

Thanks for bumping the post. Just remembered that I promised to keep you updated if it did any difference.... Well, my earnings are about the same as a month with the pop-unders on, so I guess what I lose from not having the popups on I get in return from more clicks.
