Possible Legal Issue, City Name and Product name

I may have a problem, If any our esteemed members can give some feedback as to a possible grey area, it would be much appreciated.

I have recently picked up an expired domain with the .us extension.

The domain name is a Japanese City but is also a very well known name for an electronic product.

The way I understand it is, I'm OK as long as I don't promote the site as an electronic site.

The products themselves are not well represented in the US but have over 14000000 entries in Google, most are for the Electronic product.

It used to be owned by the Electronic company.

I curently have it parked but are concerned with this also.

Your advise would be much appreciated.

If you are worried, DO NOT PARK IT....

You don't state the reason fo registring it, so I will assume you are looking to profit in some way. Setup a site for the city and promote it as such. Parking does not establish rights to the domain and is a form of bad faith you there are competing ads.
