Hi,

I am concerned that I maybe being set up for a fraud.
I bought a forum on ********* in July.
The domain for this forum is a .co.in, the forum is for the Indian market.
I believe, but cannot yet prove, that the seller of the forum also controls or owns the domain registrar.
The domain expires in February.
I have attempted to renew the domain but the registrar cannot accept paypal payments which makes me immediately suspicious.
I have contacted 'support' & receive a one-line, unsigned, reply telling me everything is fine & the domain will be renewed.
The scam could work like this - I work my *** off for months building up traffic/income, then get threatened for an extortionate ammount to control the domain.
I believe the registrar is a reseller for domainsite.com.
Can someone please advise me on what to do?
I know that technically I can transfer the domain to another registrar after 60 days but what if this 'company' blocks that?
Who can I contact to report this?
Icann? Domainsite? A lawyer?
