I must preface this by saying that I do not know the .NET market very well - if at all.

Developing.net would be the only one I would personally be interested in. I would say $40 because it's an "ing". Sorry I can't be of more assistance.

I am still mystified about the .nets as well
some people appraise them like .coms others see them as near worthless and just for network marketing. im totaly confused.

I have found that (generally) resellers place no value on .net domains, but that they can fetch $4 figures for the right .net and the right end user.

.net has huge value.

I have come upon buyers looking to buy the .net vs .com simply because the .com owner was asking an astronomical price.

Pricing your .net to appear affordible is important.

In addition, the .com owner may simply hog the names and feature no website, in which case, people do try .net

.net works extremely well for tech-domains, communities, etc.

Because premium .com prices are sometimes simply silly, a large number of medim-sized or small businesses are flocking .net.

I have great experience with .net domains and i can tell you that the dialog almost always starts with "we tried looking at .com first, as you surely understand..." with the reply being "... and found the owner asking a laughably high price?" - "exactly" - states the buyer and its a done deal. It is possible, also, that i simply never ask to high of a price. If i see a serious business or developer, i try to meet his/her offer and always try to be flexible in my evaluation of the price. My main thought is that if the price covers my initial purchase investment, my time and effort spent on promoting/developing the name and gives me a few bucks on top, i will sell it. Lets face it, spending $50 on a name and getting an offer of $1,000 hardly requires any thinking. You are looking at a huge profit and unless you have constant offers on the name or are capable of developing the name and extracting revenue from it, you can sell it right there. I do not like sitting on a name and not even making good use of it while there is someone who honestly needs the name for development.

Hope this helps.

P.S. how much are you asking for Developing.net?
