LAGAWE, Ifugao — The chairman of the House committee on national cultural communities demanded President Benigno S. Aquino III to hand down a moratorium on mining to spare indigenous peoples from being displaced from their ancestral domain and to help the nationwide effort to preserve and protect the state of the environment.
