I've recently purchased a few expiring domain names that have links on hundreds of other sites. I've pointed the names to an adult site I have, and am getting some decent traffic.
I'm now looking to purchase other domain names with links on other sites, but I have a question.
For instance, let's say I found a domain name -- "@@@@.com" -- and found from various sources that it had links to it from hundreds of other sites. So far so good.
But when I checked it out I found that these links were actually along the lines of "@@@@.com/category1/picture1.jpg".
And of course, both the "category" and the "picture" were different on almost all the links.
So the problem is, if I buy the name "@@@@.com" and point it to my adult site, then anyone clicking on "@@@@.com/category1/picture1.jpg" will arrive at a non-existant page.
Is there any way to resolve this?
Many thanks in advance.
