I also did not reg it due to no commercial value, unless I am missing something involving the name or letters.

Probably the reason it was popular here is because all other major extensions were taken. When that happens it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy the last ext will also be reg'd.

.com can also be nothing if no one agree its commercial value besides the owner.

IMO, if many people like the name, it can be considered as a good name.

Could also be initials of a company.

The name also has branding value but that is very costly.
