Does anyone know if register.com has an exclusive arrangement with any of the domain dropping services like snapnames and namewinner?

Really need this info..

Thank God they don't; that whole non-expiration scheme is a big scam.

What about domaindiscover.com?

This may or may not be the answer to your question!

FindFriends.com was on "REGISTRAR-HOLD" until yesterday (2/15). Now it seems to have been renewed by and possibly become the property of:

Registrant:

Domain Name: FINDFRIENDS.COM

DomainDiscover.com, Domain Registration Services

I saw a domain like that.

BD uses domaindiscover.com so these domains may end up at BD.

It's called "Unpaid Names Dept." :-D

BuyDomains.com

I personally like it. You don't have to bid for a name at 5 different services and just hope one of them catches it. Plus there's a "google loophole" with these domains that don't go through the full cycle :approve:

yaa, thats one thing that is good about not having the name drop.

google wouldn't remove all listing , which i noticed they do , also DMOZ do the same to all their listed sites now.
