Has anyone else noticed that instead of sending its clients domains to
auction Register.com is seemingly simply taking them over and putting them on
Sedo.com ?.

What do you mean? Do you mean they are registered deleting domains?

Yes ,instead of letting them drop or sending them to Snapnames they are
simply parking them at sedo.com Whether they do it with all I dont know
but quite a few. I have asked Snapnames for their comment ,but nothing
as yet.

I noticed few exemples too. Since I might buy some of them, I dont want to share the names but register.com is clearly selling some domains they do not "own".

Register.com should have had their registrar license pulled a long time ago.

My advice is to run like hell from them.

Selling their expired names through snap or sedo is pretty much the same IMHO. The bottom line is that they take ownership of the domains that customers let expire.

ICANN should have done something a long time ago. It goes both ways. Personally I think they all need to have something done with them.

I did a relevant search today and I see that they have over 55,000 domains
as at today that clients have failed to renew that they are retaining.
