Not impressed. It looks like a cookie-cutter web-design. The older design was, IMO, more attractive and distinct.

P.S. For a look at the old design, go to google, type in "register.com" and look at the cached page.

Thx.net namethink.

Old one is easier to navigate. New one is cleaner in design. However, both design do not give register.com any unique character, it looks similar to many other websites.

I am with NameThink. Looks like the hired out the new design to eLance. The old design was better. . .

I think they are trying to make it look like the NetSol/Verisign site - especially those tabs at the top.

You could always check out http://www.archive.org to check on the old designs - look at NetSol's too while you're there!

Guess what I found:

Register.com used to be free!!!!

In 1997 it wasn't even registered!!!
In 1996, it was a some kind of online Shopping listing.
