Easy to dismiss because of the necessary subdomaining, but I think it holds some merit. Don't know if there are any .name extension rules that would be a problem. Hey, I like subdomains and I think they are rentable in some circumstances. This would all be down to the marketing. The .name extension just doesn't figure right now. Good luck anyway!

PS: I own staterealty.biz and will be subdomaining it out by state, like ny.staterealty.biz -- still formulating a marketing plan...

Doesnt like it at all, long and people will have problem to rember that.
registerdomain.name registerdomainname.com register.domainname.com domain.name

Well its a subdomain, .name sucks and people will have a hard time rembering it. And alot of people will go to pages like domain.name instead.
