Anyone have problems logging in today?

I am really starting to dislike this Registrar. Getting support is next to impossible. I cant log in so I cant get support, WTF....

Simply register an empty account and request support from there.

I do have a few accounts myself for this purpose.

How can I get support if I cant login to access your support system, eh?

I finally managed to get into my account after trying over and over with the same user and password, there is something wrong here.

I am also still waiting for a support ticket reply I had submitted over a month ago. Someone closed the ticket and didnt even bother to contact me with a responce, whats up with that, eh?

EXCEPT there servers are slower than piss..

that said..are you using dial up? you may be timing out?

What were you expecting, Tip? Registerfly is still a no frills fly if you ask me, no matter what they claim on their home page. It's simply a question of backend business practicality - in my line, we categorise customers according to tiers - based on revenue, and those at the least revenue tier, we would rather get rid of since it affects our ability to pay our staff.

People try to compete on the internet through cut-throat low prices. Most have learnt the hard but obvious lesson that cutting price is the ultimate recipe for business failure.

A whois search of registerfly.com might produce an interesting bit of info. My observation is that some registrars have features that make them useful for some applications, though not for others. For example, if you want to check the status of a long list of domain names, Registerfly has a very good program. It won't check as many domains as some others, but it's very forgiving if you should include a typo. For all around value, I still prefer eNom.

Registerfly started charging me $10 per month last year out of the blue. I charged-back as many months as American Express would let me, then closed-out my account. I don't know what the deal was, but I never agreed to pay them every month.

My latest gripe with RegFly is that I've had some names with them for a couple years and they've screwed with how the expiration dates look. If I do normal whois, I get completely different dates. I've got them all in a spreadsheet, and when I renew I add a year. I don;t mind so much if they are off by a day or so, but I have whole groups of names that they claim are due in a week that aren't supposed to be due for anywhere from three weeks to two months. If I check whois outside of RegFly I get the dates listed as they should be.

I'm using a Dotster transfer coupon I found via Google and moving as many out as I can afford to (specifically the ones with the wrong expiration dates to start with) this month while Dotstor only wants $6 per transfer (with the coupon).
