I tried to renew two domains with registerfly. They did not
get renewed, however they charged me for both of them.
I have tried to call, send support tickets, but no answer.
The domains expired now and I'm really mad. I want to
keep this domains. I tried to transfer to enom, but I need
a code # and registerfly is not getting back to me. Please
can someone help me with this problem.

KNichole - welcome to the club! You, me and a number of other people are facing the same problem. My problem is even worse since I had a large credit balance with RegFly and now there is no hope of getting a refund.

But you can get your Auth Code by following this procedure:

1 Log into your Registerfly account

2 Click on total domains

3 Click on the domain for which you require auth code

4 It will say locked at the domains properties click on it to unlock the domain.

5 Click on domain contact information (plus sign)

6 Press configure

7 On the next page will be to see the auth code for the domain at the bottom of the page.

Please also remove the protect fly for the transfer of domain.

Hope this helps

We are all in big trouble. I have just bulk renewed 20+ domains. Luckily I don't have much fund in my RF account but I have 200 domains waiting to be transferred away. Do they allow expired domains to be transferred away?

When the domain is expired, it will not show those options..Any idea how to renew expired ones? I 'renewed' twice they charged my card but they never actually renewed it. Now the name is in 'delete prohibited' status..

any help is appreciated..

thanks,

People...join the club. This has been happening to thousands. I have blogged about it, and so have many, many others.

http://www.registerflies.com has some good information on the happenings at RegisterFly. If you have a complaint, you can use the link in my signature to file it anonymously.

Hey guys

ICANN has instucted Registerfly domain owners, to send an email to the address below, if they were still having problems with their doamians (unlocking, auth-code, privacy service/protect-fly, or other whois problems preventing transfers)

Send an email to
[email protected] with the following details in this format:

1. all domain names affected;
2. your registerfly account name;
3. the email address associated with your registerfly account;
4. a brief explanation of the specific problem
5. the date when you last attempted to do the thing you can´t do.

You will receive an auto-response / anti-spam verification email, so be sure you are writing from an email address .

Hope you will find this useful!

Regards

I will be interested to see if some Regesterfly astroturfing appears in this thread. I've seen some strange and curious posts appearing around the internet defending registerfly and slamming those who complain as babies.

Just go in to your control panel, and update the contact information. You should be able to replace the spamfly e-mail address with your own.

I did this just Friday evening, and it showed up in whois pretty quickly....

Good luck!
