reifen.de sold for $ xxx xxx!

as i just heard reifen.de (means tires in germany and gets a couple of thousands uniques a day) has been sold by a german domain broker who wants to stay anonymous (but quite a few people know who he is) for some 6 figure amount! the buyer is a german company that makes more than half of their yearly $ 38 million by selling tires on the internet.

It went for 200.000 Euros - i'm jealous

The guy who has sold it had bought it through Sedo for 5000 EUR a year ago.
Some people offered him 15k - he rejected.
The company offered 50k - he rejeicted.
The company offered 100k - he told them he'd be willing to sell the whole package of reifen.de, reifen.info,reifen.org and breitreifen.at for 200k - so they called back a few days later and confirmed.

Nice deal indeed.

Beatz or anyone else with knowledge of German domain names: if the package of reifen.de, reifen.info,reifen.org and breitreifen.at is worth $200k, what value would you appraise reifen.com?

is it yours? it should have a lot of type ins, and if this company was willing to pay 200 000 for the package, they should be willing to pay 30 000 + for reifen.com!

nicorlino, no it's not mine, unfortunatelely. I was interested in a relative appraisal - and thank you for yours - as I have a very good generic .com in German for which active business websites exist in .de/.at/.ch/.info/.net/.org.
